Will my health insurance cover Nutritionist services? A receipt including my Registered Dietitian license number will be provided for insurance purposes. Coverage is dependent on your individual plan; please verify with your provider. The Canada Revenue Agency recognizes Registered Dietitians as Authorized Medical Practitioners. Fees not covered by insurance may be claimed as a medical expense on your Canadian income tax return.

What is the difference between a registered dietitian and a nutritionist? In Quebec, “dietitian” and “nutritionist” mean the same thing. They are both protected titles — only individuals who are members of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ) can legally use them.

What forms of payment do you accept? E-transfer or credit/debit card payment.
